adult voice class with katherine arthur

Join instructor, Katherine Arthur, for a semester of group singing - just for adults!
This class is a communal singing environment to learn breath control, vocal technique, and musicianship all while developing a broad repertoire of songs. Students are led through vocal and body exercises using the Alexander Technique. The class allows many opportunities for group, duet, and solo singing all with a live accompanist!
Students with zero music experience are welcome!

NEW Features for 2026!

  • Starting in Winter 2026, the accompanist will be in class for additional time for a total of 75 minutes!

  • After the last day of each 10-week semester, students will have the opportunity to perform in an Adult Voice Showcase for an additional fee. Show off your learned skills with classmates in front of a public audience!

    • OPTIONAL SHOWCASE: 11/19/26, 6:30pm (students arrive at 5:30pm, doors open 6:15pm),
      *ADDITIONAL $10 PERFORMANCE FEE DUE PRIOR TO SHOWCASE

tuition:
$115 per 5 CLASS semester - includes accompanist and materials fees!
* NO SHOWCASE FOR SUMMER SEMESTER *

UNLIMITED MAKEUPS: Students have unlimited make-ups within their registered semester. For example, if you are enrolled in the Tuesday session and miss a class, you can attend a Thursday or Monday class to makeup for that missed day! Full tuition is due regardless of the number of classes attended.
